Richard Heene, the criminal father of ‘Balloon Boy’ Falcon, mastermind behind ‘Balloon Boy’ Hoax, will spend 30 days in prison and suffer probation for the next 4 years. Once Heene’s 30 day prison term is up, it is widely expected Richard will fail mandatory drug tests during probation and receive a more severe punishment, including but not limited to several years in prison.
