Problem: Having difficult time living with brutal co-workers talking and sucking all the time

While checking out Bose.com for noise cancelling Headphones – a chat now popup interfered with my online shopping.

Thank you for choosing Bose. A Product Sales Specialist will be with you shortly.

offshore-outsourcing-to-india-2[1]Aric: Welcome to Bose. My name is Aric, how may I help you today?

DangerousDan: hi, i am thinking of getting the qc 15s today

Aric: Excellent!! Do you have any questions?

DangerousDan: do they cancell out noise from coworkers close by, or is it more for airplane noise?

DangerousDan: i deal with brutal co-workers who are fucking loud, sit next to me

DangerousDan: i need something to shut them out, for good

Aric: Noise reduction circuitry in QuietComfort Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones minimizes low-frequency sound, but not high-frequency sound. The earcups passively shield you from high-frequency sound by placing a barrier between you and the sound. No headphones will eliminate all noise. But proprietary Bose noise reduction and audio technologies work together to make almost any listening experience more rewarding.

DangerousDan:: …so will this help? i already have the regular $150 bose headphones

bose-qc15[1]DangerousDan:: the over the ear version, sans noise cancelling

Aric: QuietComfort 15 headphones reduce significantly more noise than previous models. Advanced electronics now use microphones both inside and outside each earcup to sense and reduce more of the sounds around you, across a wider range of frequencies.

DangerousDan: your basically rewriting what ive already read on the bose website…

DangerousDan: not quite answering my question

DangerousDan: will these be effective at shutting out my sucky coworkers??

Aric: It is hard to say, Do you plan on connecting the headphones to a source?

DangerousDan:: yes, i listen to music all day -0 but i do not want to just turn up the music and destroy my hearing

worker sleepingAric: You won’t have to! Bose offers a 30-day, risk-free test of our products. We recommend trying them in your own listening environment to evaluate them for yourself.

DangerousDan: ok, so if i pick them up today, i can return them for 100% money back? is there any gift for returning them?

Aric: That is correct. No gifts that I know of

DangerousDan: solid, i guess

Aric: Do you have any additional questions?

DangerousDan: Have you tried using these headphones to cancel out noise from obnoxious people?

Aric: No, I have tried the headphones and they are amazing.

DangerousDan: what kind of noise were you trying to block out?

Aric: Thank you for waiting. I’ll be with you in just a moment.

Sadhu_t250[1]Aric: I tried them in a large training room with some back ground noise. With a
source on, like music it reduced the outside noise substantially.

DangerousDan: were you lifting weights?

Aric: I was on an elliptical

DangerousDan: ok, from your experience with them – is it possible i will not hear my coworker next to me at all?

DangerousDan: or will it just make it not as bad?

Aric: Is there anything else we can do for you today?

Aric: Thank you for chatting with us. We value your feedback. Please click the “Close” button at top right to answer a few questions about your experience with us today.

DangerousDan: wait… Is there any way i can get a discount?

Aric: No, but we are offering free ground shipping.

  1. It looks like you’ve misspelled the word “Olso” on your website. I thought you would like to know :). Silly mistakes can ruin your site’s credibility. I’ve used a tool called SpellScan.com in the past to keep mistakes off of my website.

  2. In case you didn’t realize, the word “Olso” on your site is spelled incorrectly. I had similar issues on my website which hurt my credibility until someone pointed it out and I discovered some of the services like SpellHelper.com or SpellingCheck.com which help with these type of issues.
